In recent weeks, we’ve been working to revamp the flower beds in the area behind the Flight Enclosure, especially those along the sidewalk from the parking lot. In two of these beds, we’ve planted annuals in solid blocks of color, a technique that can be very striking and also especially attractive to butterflies. Today’s post features the “pink bed”, which includes Gaura ‘Whirling Butterflies’ and Agastache 'Acapulco Salmon’, along with some white plumbago for contrast. Look for a post on the “red bed” coming soon!
