Halloween 2015 Decorations

It's the spooky season! MOSI Outside dressed up a little for Halloween this year... take a look at our decorations.

We made these plant marker gravestones from wood plaques and clay. Get a closer look at them and learn how we did it by clicking here.

Every year we surface carve a few pumpkins - butterflies like to drink the juices from the flesh! We also added a few gourds just for fun.

This year we added to the fun by dressing up our frog mascot out front! He's a wizard frog, with a cauldron full of bats and rats (and begonias).

We filled some pumpkin pails with potted parsley, and added a few frog skeletons for more spooky fun.

One last trick is waiting for anyone with sharp eyes to find in the Savage Garden. Remember, we warned you not to touch the plants...

Sculpted from clay by our own talented MOSI Outside Coordinator Kristen!)
